I am so confused?

Current iPhone family. Looking at the Incredible. I need a phone that can tether and also sync with MS Outlook on a local pc including Outlook Notes. I do have a gmail account and will sync my stuff there, but my wife has to keep her stuff local and out of the cloud, hence the stand alone Outlook. I cant find out how to look at apps since I dont have a android phone yet.

I have looked at other posts and see a mix of answers. Any help on the above issues?

Not a good sign.

you can sync some things with outlook using HTC Sync hopefully but until people actually get their hands on the phone we wont know for sure.
