If you read the linked OP, you'll see that my school's network is NOT WEP. However, my Incredible detects it as a WEP. I've tried manually creating the 802.1x network, but it just says that it's "out of range."

Thoughts?

Your Wi-Fi network probably uses the EAP-TLS protocol. Have you tried this:

Connecting to a Wi-Fi network with EAP-TLS security:

You may need to install a network certificate (.p12) to your phone before you can connect to a Wi-Fi network with EAP-TLS authentication protocol.

1. Save the certificate file to the root folder of the storage card.
2. Press HOME> MENU, and then tap Settings > Security.
3. Tap Install from SD card.
4. Select the network certificate needed to connect to the EAP-TLS network.
5. Connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Cory - thanks for the reply. My school's IT department tells me they do not use p12 files. Instead, their certificates are all *.cer.

Any other ideas?
