Just wanted to share. I found an amazing FREE nexus live wallpaper in the app market. It's called NexusMod. It lets you change the color scheme and stuff and its FREE. I've seen people recommending a lot of paid versions and since this one is so good I thought I'd let everyone know. I've only had it for a few hours so I can't speak about what it does to battery life. So far it hasn't given me any glitchy errors (and I've really been playing around with it ).

I have the paid one. It uses a very tiny amount of battery.

Exactly, the largest consumption comes from the screen.

Aside from the cellular radio, the screen is probably the second largest drain on any phone.

However the screen isn't on all the time. Has anyone confirmed or disproved that the wallpaper still use cpu when the screen isn't on? I'm thinking it doesn't.

My largest area of consumption is the Android system at 35%.

This is my favorite wallpaper. I love the interactivity.

I really wish it had the option to use your own custom background along with the nexus flying laser thingys.

Anyone know if the paid app is smoother/ more efficient? Or does it just offer more options?

Are you sure? The programer's not that it now works on the Droid suggests that it might use less RAM.
