Battery temperature

Recently I noticed that my battery temperature, even when the phone has been sitting idle for a while, has substantially spiked. It's averaging over 90? easily, where previously it would hover in the upper 70s. Any thoughts on whether this is a hardware problem? It seems to have coincided with increasing random reboots I've been experiencing lately, which I'm tempted to view as overheating in light of these battery temps. I am using a non rooted incredible with the stock battery.

I would try a new battery - a bad battery will overheat and can lead to random reboots. If Tony Bag O Donuts sees this, he can confirm. It happened to him and was very frustrating to diagnose. Amazon has them cheap, or check the AC Store at the link in the header.
