Editing Groups and Contacts on Home Screens.

I have my Favorites set so when I press on one, it calls their mobile phone. This is one screen to the right of home screen. I am sure most here have the same. I went to the far right screen and decided to set up the VIP group so when I press on them, I can send a text message. When I go back to Favorites it saved the changes there. Is it possible to set VIP contact to text and Favorite contact to call?

I added contacts individually and selected default action individually.

You can only do this if your VIP contact is not in your Favorite's group since there is only 1 widget action setting per contact.

Thank you. After reading your response, I fiddled around and found the screen where you can assign the action to the contact.

Glad that you found the set widget action control. One note: since you can't set up the same contact to do multiple things (e.g. text and call mobile) from the favorites widget, there is a work around. You can set the widget action to view contact and then select your action from the list. It's one more step, but it's the only way that I've found to do multiple things for one contact through the favorites widget.
