Default storage card (aka additional memory)

ok...i got the 2GB card for free with the phone...put it in and the system sees it.

I exported to the card two copies of my contacts for testing to see if i could pull them in as well.

well i can pull them in, but i cannot seem to delete the one(s) that are not current ro i dont need anymore...

ive looked in the manual on how to access the card, but i am either blind or just pass over it. (the manual needs a ton of help in how the index is listing things btw)

so - can i access the card via the phone or am i going to be forced to connect to the pc?

    download astro file manager

it usually defaults to /sdcard, but if it doesn't, navigate to that folder

ok nwb question then...(and thx for the reply btw)

but is this the only way to see the card then? am i understanding that there is no way to get to the card from within the OS already?

i just am asking for clarification since it seems i know the answer but am new to smart phones.

    thanks

correct, android has no built in file manager. you have to download one from the market.
