Default Calls going directly to voice mail..phone not ringing

The last two days I've had incidents at home where my phone didn't ring and I had voicemails show up. I did a few tests at work today and the 5 times I had 3 different people call me and 3 out of 5 times the phone never rang. The people were in the same room as me and I've never had issues with receiving calls either at work or at home. I checked my signal strength at each place and it's been just fine.

Anyone have any thoughts as to why this might be happening?

    Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem - mine was caused by an application I had downloaded - GBlocker (supposed to block unknown callers - but blocked people I had not added to my blocked list).

Uninstalled it and the phone rang again.

I currently don't have any call blocker apps on my phone.

You can try doing a factory reset which will wipe your phone clean and you just have to sign back into Google to get your contacts and calendar. You might want to back up your apps because you will lose and ones you installed.

No you won't lose the apps you installed IF you downloaded them from the Market. They will be there when you open the market. You just need to re-download them. Some will even install themselves if you give it time after the initial sync.
Anything you installed from outside the market, you will lose though. What I do is save a copy of the apk file on my sdcard so installing those apps is easy after a factory reset. I did plenty with the Droid and all those custom ROMs

I actually tried a soft reset (removing battery for a few seconds and then restarting power) and it seems to have done the trick.

    Thanks everyone for their help.
