Droid Incredible Shipping?

I ordered an Incredible yesterday (5/9) and my order status says "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days." Does this hold true or is it just a generic message? I didn't get a shipping confirmation from Verizon today and usually I get it the first business day after I order a phone from them. I know that the picture of the Incredible said "Ships by 5/29" when I ordered it, but I'm not sure if they're actually on back order. Is anyone else getting shipping confirmations?

Same here. Bought it 5/9, order status says I'll receive it 2 to 3 days. I'm hoping that's for real. I'm jumping from the bold 9700 on AT&T. I'm excited about Big Red's network and the Dinc.

I really hope so as well. I've had a Palm Pre Plus since February and I'm ready to be rid of it.

Unless Verizon got a shipment in today I would say you wont be getting it in 2 to 3 days. I say this because when I talked with tech support today about getting a replacement, he checked all the warehouses and there were no stock. It seems the that tech support keeps a small stash of phones for replacements and he shipped me a new Inc from that stash overnight.

That blows. My Mom works for Verizon and I'm on her employee account so getting it in-store wasn't an option. Surely they can't be sold out... they didn't sell out of the Motorola Droid, online or elsewhere.

dont listen to all who tell u its backordered, it is not. the verizon tech i ordered mine from said the same thing. i received mine in 2 days. these are not on backorder. shipping as scheduled.

I ordered mine on a Thursday evening, it shipped out Friday morning and I got it that Monday. It may be backordered for the stores but they have plenty in most warehouses.

I still haven't received mine. My order status still says 2-3 business days, and has said that since Sunday. They've yet to send any sort of shipping confirmation/tracking number.

Hopefully your phones come sooner rather than later. I pre-ordered on 4/25 when the thing said guaranteed by 4/29 or whatever, and i got it on 4/29. I think on 4/27 I got the tracking number.

I hope I get it the tracking number this afternoon, it's overnight shipping so I would get it tomorrow if that was the case. That would fall within the "2-3 business days." I hope I like it, I haven't even held one yet.

Ordered mine at the VZW store Sunday 5/9. They were out of stock. Supposed to overnight as soon as they come into the warehouse. He thought that I should have it before 5/14

I ordered mine from the website on Friday May 7th and it said it would ship by May 29th. I received a tracking number saying it will be here tomorrow

"Most warehouses" scare me

. I wonder how many states does one of those warehouses serve. I think quite a few.

Spoke to rep today. He said by 5/29. How do you under estimate sales by that much that you have a month back log???? On Sunday they told me by 5/14. Reminds me of the Storm launch.

I just called as well, to "check in" to see if there was any more info they could give me. The rep said that if I didn't have a tracking number by tonight to receive tomorrow (5/13) then she would special order and overnight mine to me for Friday delivery!!!!! We shall see.......

That stinks. I ordered mine 5/10 and was hoping for 2-3 days like the status says. It's understandable that it's backordered but still stinks that the order status is misleading.
