Default Alternatives to Sense Photo viewer

So i have some pictures on my phone that I dont want EVERYONE to see. I have these pictures in a certain folder, and have tried several locations to put it without the Incredible's stock photo viewer picking them up and putting them in the viewable albums. I don't see any settings to be able to change this. Is there another photo viewer to download and use that will only show the pictures i want to see. I dont mind using Astro to view my hidden pictures.

Do you have your "hidden photos" in a folder starting with a "." example ".hiddenpics"? if so the stock viewer should not see them.

You could also add a blank file in the folder with the hidden pics called ".nomedia" and it shouldn't be scanned by the gallery app.

    this.

the way i create them (mostly for album art) is to do it with a computer (open notepad and save a blank document, then rename it to .nomedia)

I don't have my phone yet (get it tomorrow) but can't you go into the file properties and check off "hidden file"? I can do this on my Storm 2 now and it works well and it even saves the hidden file attribute when I transfer it to my PC.

i haven't seen anything like that.

i doubt we'll see anything like that until android has a native file browser.

The problem with renaming a folder with a "." in front is that the photo app has no way to get into it at all when I do want to see them. Otherwise I have to rename it back when I want to browse. I wish asto file manager could scroll through the pictures in a folder instead of one at a time.
