Given that the Eris update to 2.1 was leaked in various incarnations and the issues that arose with the leaks(rooting, inabilaty to roll back, etc) do you think:
1. There will be a leak for Froyo for HTC Incredible

2. The leak could be in "stages" like the Eris leak

3. The leak could produce similar obstacles.

Just speculating, given what I went through with the Eris update.

Any thoughts?

Just my guess. ^.^

2.2 isn't nearly as big as a jump as 1.6 -> 2.1. I would just guess we see it promptly, not really enough time for it to leak.

Thanks for your reply. After the Eris saga, it will be somewhat comforting to know that the next upgrade will be a little smoother.

don't expect anything too soon though, "the second half of the year" is still a pretty vague window.
