Question Help, replaced my blown speakers but now I have extremely low vol

I watched some tutorial videos on replacing both of these speakers on my incredible and it appeared to be rather simple. I attempted to do this myself and upon putting my phone back together I first received no volume, gave it another shot and received bare minimum volume. I double checked my settings and they were all maxed. This is the case on both speakers and I have tried and tried again. I have two incredibles so I have been testing different methods, making spacers to put under the speaker as well securing it with adhesive. I am at a loss but I love this phone too much to give up.

Anyone else go through this and possibly find a solution?

Hmmm - You double checked all the connections?

Also - how is the volume before you put the case back on. Any chance they're in backwards?

    Just trying to brainstorm.

The loud speaker can only go in one way. I'll double check the earpiece speaker. I called verizon and htc and they both told me that I could not speak with a technician. It was extremely frustrating because I can almost guarantee this issue has a very simple solution.

You might want to swing by a VZW Corporate store with a tech and see if you can schmooze a tech.

It's worth a shot. You're probably right it's something simple. Double check all your connections too.

    Good luck.
