I've been having trouble with my phone (Incredible S) so I'm going through the process of unrooting, downgrading the radio and attempting to run "unrevoked-forever-son" so I can return for repair/replacement. The recovery goes to a black screen from HBOOT so I installed ROM Manager to see if I can get this to work, but everytime I drop to the recovery menu, I can select from the list of options but when I select one (power button) it just displays the ROM Manager icon and nothing happens.

At this point I'm trying to turn "S-ON" running from a zip folder on my FAT-32 SD card. I was able to downgrade the radio from HBOOT so I know the card is working.

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone assist?

nevermind, I'm a dummy - I was using the volume up/down and power button instead of the center button
