    Default can texts be saved to sd card

    Can texts,emails and phone settings (bookmarks,ring tones,icon position) basically just had to do a factory reset and hate having to reset the phone up

    Without the need for rooting, look for SMS Backup app in the Market. It backs up text messages to an SMS folder in your Gmail. Pretty slick. Works great!

    good job chaddy im gonna check it out will it also save mms..sometimes i forget to save the pics people send me and i jus leave them in the convo

    I'm not gonna root until 2.2 comes out and is rootable. I have no need for root. I don't tether, overclock is pointless for me, etc...just want the incredible. One more week until delivery. I can't take it!

    no need to root, you can try AST android sms transfer, this one can help to back up all text messages to SD card, or computer.
