Droid Incredible Stuck On HTC Incredible Screen. PLEASE HELP

Okay so i'm new to all of this and I have looked around but all of the similar posts are results from flashing roms and stuff.
Today I did a factory reset because I had MIUI on my phone but it was messing with my text messages and it was important that I get them properly so that's why I did a hard reset.
So after I wiped it, I restarted it and it just stayed on the white HTC Incredible Screen. I've pulled the battery and it still only gets to that screen.
I have held down the volume button and the power button and i can get to the hboot screen but I have no idea where to go from there to make things work right.

I don't know if this is necessary at all but when i get to the hboot screen this is what is at the top

And then it has
Hboot, the volume button instructions, fastboot, recovery, clear storage, and simlock.

Please help me! I really hope it isn't bricked because I don't have a backup phone or anything. :/

Did you factory reset the phone in settings or in your recovery?

I would load a different ROM. Downoad it and put it on your SD Card them flash it in recovery.

My suggestion would be CM7's latest nightly for the DInc. Also download the GAPPS and flash it in recovery as wel to get the Market/Play app.

I actually just reread your post. A hard reset on a rooted phone isn't the same as on stock. When you reset stock it just returns the phone back to what it was new. When you do that to a rooted phone it removes the from also. If your in recovery you're not bricked, you just need to flash a from. That's why your stuck on the boot image

Kay so i;ve downloaded a new rom to my laptop but when i plug my phone into it it, to put it onto the sd card,it does not show up, i know it needs to be "mounted" in some settings, but like i said before, its stuck on the white htc incredible screen..so i can't exactly change the mounting settings.

same phone same problem, how did you fix it in lamen's terms ?

If you are rooted and can get into recovery - Download a new ROM, like CM7 and flash it.

If you're stock and not rooted then do a factory reset and it will reset your phone to Out of the Box settings.
