Extreme Battery Depletion
So I know the Incredible isn't great with battery life, I've had mine since day one. But I've noticed it get a LOT worse recently.
I've been changing roms for the last 6 months and finally settled on PONS CM7. I'm using the Mar. 21st build and noticed my screen was always the culprit low battery. So I ran a test. I charged my phone to max, started downloading a few songs, I unplugged my phone and turned the screen off completely.
I left it alone for 30 minutes and then checked the battery usage. The battery was down to 54% and the display used 61% of the battery. I know I was using 3g to download, but why was the display taking away soo much when it was off?

Sounds like a buggy kernel - have you tried another kernel?
Some say that his dormant chips were left that way for YOUR SAFETY... Others say that once "turned on," he can not be turned off... All we know is... He's called The Stig.
