I am guessing that you are using headphones with a built in mic? If so then this is the issue. IT is well known and documented. Just get yourself a pair of basic earbuds and you will be fine.

Get btunes you will love it.

I use headphones with a mic and have never had this issue, but like stated above try a new set of ear buds.

I had the same problem. Download the widget "headset blocker" from the market. Just turn it on any time you plug in your headphones or an auxiliary cable. I haven't had the problem happen again since I used this. Found this solution on another forum.
