Hi. I just got my 3rd replacement Indredible. Yes, my fourth phone in total. First one died and would not power on the 2nd day I had it, 2nd one suffered from constant restarting despite many factory resets and minimal 3rd part apps. 3rd one has a totally defunct camera.
I just got the 4th unit in the mail. Plugged in my SD card and battery and ran set up. But for some reason I, it will not allow me to activate the phone. I tried rebooting to recovery to do a hard format, and I am presented with an icon of a phone with a big red caution sign. I have no idea what this means or what to do about it. Sufficed to say, I'm pretty frustrated with this phone right now...
I hope this particular problem is just ignorance on my part, and not something I have to live with.
Also, my current phone is rooted/custom recovery. Should I undo that before sending it in?
*EDIT: Factory restore solved the activation problem, but I still can't acess recovery.
