apps on sd card

I am getting a replacement phone tomorrow. If I move all of my apps to the sd card will the data from those apps be saved as well? I really hope so...I don't want to lose all of my progress AGAIN on Angry Birds. And if not, is there a cheap way to back up my apps and data? Preferably free! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I heard App brain works pretty good. I haven't used it my self though.

I dont think that will save your progress tho.I use "MyBackup" and it saves apk's on SD and I thought it would save my progress then I emailed them and they said it wouldn't unless I was rooted.So just saves the game/data on sd unless you are rooted .

I was thinking saving it on sd card as you mentioned would be about samething ,,,, but on the other hand give it a shot cant hurt to try , lol

Actually the market/or appbrain will remember what you purchased as long as you use the same gmail account , the free stuff appbrain remembers if you synced with computer.It does not remember your progress in the games tho.
