I purchased this 32GB based on recommendations from this site. I think it's a Class 2 but nevertheless it works fine for music and video/picture capturing.

Yes you can use 32GB but that to me is excessive. If you don't need that much space save some money and go with an 8GB or 16GB. There are sites that will give you a list of approximately how many pictures and songs and videos you can store on these cards.

32gb is indeed excessive. Imagine having to sort through 10,000 pictures just to find the one you're looking for? I would imagine load time would be forever too. 8gb or 16 gb is fine IMO

why is that in excess? i have 20 GB of music/movies loaded up on it in addition to app storage, pictures and other stuff?

As a general point of order - More is never Excessive!

More is how we got here to begin with!
Did we ever REALLY need more than our Nokia 7000 series or Startac?
Do we NEED dual core?

And, back on topic, 32 GB is the max.Some say that his dormant chips were left that way for YOUR SAFETY... Others say that once "turned on," he can not be turned off... All we know is... He's called The Stig.
