My signal strength meter seems to be off every since the last 2.2 maintenance update. I keep seeing the meter fluctuate a lot, even when the phone is held in the same spot. I did a factory reset and *228, but this hasn't made any difference. Have any of you had a similar issue? If yes, any advice?

i've seen mine jump to full bars and back down a few times, but it hasn't bothered me.

Yes and 3G data seems much more unstable after the November update.
Nothing we can do about it unless you hack/root your phone.
