Slice Ice, originally $1.99, is today's free app. This game plays like a modern day Qix. Draw a line to "slice the ice" and make ice cubes for the penguin king for his drink.

I have it and like it too. I wonder if you get the free paid app and uninstall it later, will I be able to reinstall it? Anyone tried this?

Swiftkey is the free app today, but I prefer Swype. Just got Swiftkey in case the beta ends at a later date so I will have another option :)

Yes. You can reinstall without getting charged. It sits in what they called cloud when you go into amazon app. I've been able install the free paid apps obtain via my HTC into my nexus 7 last week.
Its pretty similar to Google play. It will notify you of updates on the apps too.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Android Central Forums
