Weird New Audio Jack Icon

Hi, I've been having this issue for about a week now. Whenever I plug an audio cord into the audio have, instead of the normal headphone or headset icon I have been getting a new icon. The icon is a horizontal handset over five bricks, two on the top three on the bottom.

Audio will still stream through whatever device I have plugged in; however, when I try to make a call with the phone plugged into my car's audio jack, I can hear the other party but they cannot hear me. I called HTC support, and the man I talked to had never seen the icon before. It's not in the manual. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Can you take a picture of it?

I'm not sure what it is eather.

The only thing I can think of that looks like that is the Vibration Icon - Does the phone ring when you put in the headphones?

Well that is definitely not an HTC Icon I looked through both the Éclair and Froyo manuals - Is there a notice in the dropdown? Could it be an App Icon?
