Re: Cyanogen 7
Yes - I'm having this issue too, and while I'm being able to put up with more and more because of how quick and smooth this is over UKB 2.1, it's really a bother in an office where you can hear a cricket chirp. Any fixes for that out right now?
Another issue I have is when I pull my ear away from my phone - used to it would automatically turn the screen on. Now I have to hit the power button to be able to do anything on my screen. Is that something that can be adjusted - the only thing I saw was the proximity sensor always enabled (but seems like that more applies to landscape/portrait stuff)?
Someone answered me on here that the puzzle lock wasn't built in, but they didn't tell me if it was available as an add-on. Just wondering if there's a way to get it?
Also - Last modem I ended up with in doing this install (yeah - I had issues) is EB01 - what's the best way to ED04 and there is an odin file for EC09, right? And to clarify - there is not such thing as ED09, right?
I'm also curious in the "nightlie" update and using ROM manager and CW issues from this point forward too. Thanks guys.Does your phone increase your productivity or decrease it?

Re: Cyanogen 7
Ah ok - that's odd it's reading 4186, but prior to starting the app I was in the 80s for percentile - how did it jump up to 100% in a matter of minutes. I guess I'll assume that the app readying 4186 means I am at as close to 100% as I can get, thanks.
* just rebooted at it now says I'm at 94% THAT makes more sense - running the app again to 100%

Re: Cyanogen 7
I skipped from ED01 to EC09 and thus far it is performing well. I recorded about a 15-20% increase in my 3G speeds (via running several Speed Test runs from same location) so that was impressive. GPS takes quite a while to lock, however (for me). Is ED04 good for GPS?

Re: Cyanogen 7
Going into settings - profiles - default profile and then down to application groups allowed me to turn off led notifications for email etc.
Anyone know if there's a calculator apk from the commROMs that I can flash onto CM7? I like that calculator better than the one included in this build. Also, does anyone know if bluetooth dialing is possible on the current build? - 07-21-2011, 02:04 PM #83

Re: Cyanogen 7
Is this logic right? And I hope not - otherwise. I'm immediately gone. I'm hearing that charging won't work when powered off. If this is the case, then what happens if the batter of the phone ever dies? S.O.L? Doesn't seem like putting something like that out should even be legal?
And did anyone else experience the screen staying black even when pulling it away from your head?
And I was playing in the settings last night, and I found something about speakers (almost like a calibration) that had options ... Weakest, Weaker, Weak, Normal, Strong, Stronger, Strongest. I don't know where those are - just wondering how to get back to it? Thanks.Does your phone increase your productivity or decrease it?

Re: Cyanogen 7
1. There is currently a bug that boots the phone up when you try to charge it with it off. Not really anything you can do about it.
2. This is another known bug. You can push the volume up/down to turn the screen back on during a call. Not a big deal if only a minor inconvenience.
3. That was the DSP Manager app that comes with CM7. I have not messed with it so I'm not sure how it works exactly. - 07-21-2011, 07:56 PM #86

Been on CM7 for a couple days now with the Glitch Kernal (low leak) . Had to flash GAPPS through the Rom manager app. Everything is fast snappy I am overall very happy with it, if you hesitant don't be it works great just make sureyou Odin the blue cwm recovery.
Just a fast question does any one know why the home menu back and search keys wont lite up until after you touch them. Is there a setting Im missing I did some searches and all I can find is info on blm?
Thanks

You know, I've never met anyone like you before. Usually when I meet someone new I feel awkward and shy. But with you it's different. - 07-22-2011, 09:27 AM #92

Re: Cyanogen 7
if you want to add/delete/change the items in the drop down menu go to:
Settings - CM Settings - Interface - Notification Power Widget - Widget Buttons
Start playing around and I am sure you will be VERY pleased.עם ישראל חי - 07-22-2011, 05:54 PM #98

Re: Cyanogen 7
I love the RealCalc app from the market. It can operate in "normal" mode or in RPN for those engineer types (like me) that learned on HP calculators...
I have used the calculator app on the UKB 2.0, not sure if it would work with CM7, though I don't know why it wouldn't.
