samsung Fascinate 2.3.5 CWM/root?

Ok so i have a samsung fascinate 2.3.5 and a mac. I need to either root it or install Clock Work Mod on it because i want to get ICS. So is there anyway i can root it on a mac

There is a guide in the stickies...haven't looked at it because I've never needed to root with a mac, so I'm not sure if it's for gingerbread, but I'd look there. It was updated recently.

Apparently for 1 Click, the files are gone because of Megaupload.

I would appreciate some help in this arena as well. I've spent two days trying to get different methods to work, then trying to combine different aspects of those methods, and still my phone will not comply. When I try and do everything with ADB bridge, the connection between my Fascinate and computer always fails at some point. Usually after executing rage.bin. When I am kicked back out of the shell, adb no longer see's my phone on the other end of the bridge.
