Switching touch wiz launchers

I was wondering if the touch wiz launcher from the vibrant would work on the fascinate? I've used both and like the vibrant's more.

Ok, since no one replied I tried it myself. I was able to take the TouchWiz30Launcher.apk from the Vibrant and replace the stock version on the Fascinate. What this buys me is the ability to have an Alphabetical grid option in the app drawer. I hated not having the grid in alphabetical order since I knew it was an option on the Vibrant.

1) Backup current apk & odex files

2) copy over new apk & delete the odex

3) restart your phone. If you don't you'll get a bunch of force close messages.

Sounds like your adding the apk and just deleting the old odex then. There is no old apk to rename?

Awesome!! love Touchwiz way better now. Sorting alphabetically is the main reason I had switched toLlauncherpro

Titanium backup or root explorer..... make sure you back it up though

Be sure to backup the old apk just in case. I created a folder on my SD card called junk. I move the files there.

I am new to titanium backup pro but why isn't the move to scard option not enabled?

Any chance doing this touchwiz switch gets us the Google Search widget back instead of bing without going through any extra steps?

I thought someone else on another forum said it did, but just wanted to get confirmation before I try it.
