DX Multi touch KB

So I found a thread explaining how to port over the multitouch keyboard, but i am a little confused. In this thread, post 18, it says that using root explorer, i need to delete the latin ime apk's, but my question is:

1. Can i use astro?
2. If i delete the apk's, wont i need them to go back to stock if i wanted to do the OTA 2.2? Or would it be okay to delete them and upgrade no problem?

it's probably best to either rename them or move them to your sd card for easy restoration.

if they are in the /system (or really anywhere outside of the sd card) you won't be able to do it with astro, you need something like root explorer, adb, or something else with root access to the filesystem.

ok what should i rename it to? should i put a "./" infront of the apk, or should i add ".old" at the end?
