Trying to install the Jt Rom but im getting the "failed to verify whole file sig..

Ok...

Rooted it today, and now im using the rom manager to download jt rom. I downloaded the rom, backed up and cleared cache.. Phone reset's, begins the install and then it says,

"E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted"

I've tried to do a search but nothing is very clear (atleast to me, which isnt saying much) on what's causing the problem and how to fix it.

You have to install CWM before you can start flashing ROMs. Read over the CWM sticky

ok, So i was a little confused with installation of odin etc, but after reading through page 6 I got it (whole take the battery out thing.)

It still messed up after that (different error this time.).

I re downloaded the file and did the install through the rom manager and it looks as if it went through with success!!!!

What was confusing for me is that rom manager says it has CWM etc, and boots into it etc.

I kind of liked the way the old interface worked, and dont like how this has the look of the Motorola's.

If you installed JTs ROM, and selected ADW as default launcher, go to

SETTINGS/APPLICATIONA/MANAGE APPLICATIONS

scroll to ADW.Launcher and select

scroll to LAUNCH BY DEFAULT and clear.

Next time you use the UI, it should give you a prompt with choices, and choose the other one. I don't have phone near me and can't remember the name.
