New Market not installing, please help (Solved)

I've downloaded the .zip file for the new market I found in another thread and tried to install it through CWM, and when I reboot I see no change in the market. I know I must be missing something small here, and apologize for my noobie-ness, but can someone point me in the right direction? Also, I'm having issues with my beautiful widgets bugging out. Should I be clearing some sort of cache? Please help!

It seems as if this version of the market is only installing properly on devices running FroYo. If you try and install it natively it gives you a parsing error.

I don't even get that, its just not showing any change after successful installation. Also got the same error you said after going straight to sd card to install.

I've always just downloaded a newer vending apk, put it on my SD card then navigate to it with any file explorer on the phone and select install. I've attached mine below.

The gentleman to thank is someone who goes by RickS in irc. Under my instructions he was able to pull it from his phone and email it to me. I am just the packager.
