Fascinate Vibrate is gone

I installed the Stupid fast kernal (Stupidfast-test-v1.97) and then ROM/Theme: Superdark_update_signed, did I do something wrong that this happened? ANy hints please let me know..l didn't install voodoo this time, I removed it successfully. Once these were installed I started from scratch.

Typically this is because of a mismstched radio and kernal. Are you on dj05?

StupidFast kernels v1.5, 1.54, and 1.97 are for DJ05. In order for everything to work properly you need to have the matching rom and modem. If you go into Setting > About Phone, what do you see from your build and baseband versions?

The kernal you flashed is for dj05, and you're running di01, so that's why you lost your vibration. Either flash a kernal for di01 or update to dj05 completely. Your vibration should return then

Which is better or easiest to go to? Updating to Djo5 for the Rom.... or trying to flash the older kernel?

If you want to keep using your current kernel you need:

dj05modem - Flash with Odin
DJ05 ROM - Copy to SD card and install in CWM

You need to flash the dj05 modem as well as the ROM otherwise it won't work

Any DJ05 Rom will do. I was just giving you a stock one as a baseline.

Ok, So I flashed the modem for DJ05 and the stock rom for DJ05, then added the SuperDark DJ05 theme and vibrate is gone again... it worked before I added the SuperDark theme.... did I do something wrong in the order?

This is what my about phone info shows.

Firmware: 2.1 update1
Baseband version: S:i500.04 V. DJ05
Kernel Version: 2.6.26
Build Number: SCH-I500.DJ05

I'm not sure what I did... or if maybe it is the theme.

I flashed SuperDarkDJ05-Rom-V1 after the stock DJ05 Rom.

I thought there was an Odin step when you moved to DJ05? I think you probably missed a step somewhere.

I pushed the Rom DJ05 through ODIN, and then used CWMRecovery to update the kernel to stock DJ05 and then same for SuperDark theme.

Your theme needs to be DJ05 compatible as well. Was not sure it could kill your haptic but could. Most themes are updated for DJ05 now.
