Some Pics of DL30 For Those Interested

Here's a few pics of the Super Clean DL30 0.7 for those who would like to check it out. It runs pretty smooth and all the Froyo options are there. I really liked the added copy and paste options in Swype.

P.S. don't try and flash the puzzle lock screen from ROM Manager. . . I had to do a restore to get the phone to reboot

And Let me go ahead and recommend the Gingerbread Keyboard! We Froyo users can now use it!

I LOVE the new copy/paste options. But just an FYI, that's not just in Swype. That's across the OS

Yea I love the copy/paste too. I just wish I could get the puzzle lock to work. Any ideas?

You don't have it as an option? If you go to Settings > Display settings, there should be an option for Lock Screen.

I tried that. I highlighted the puzzle lock screen with little avail.

Hmm that's weird, it works for me. How did you update to Froyo? Did you come from DL09 and did you wipe your phone?

I came from DJO5 custom ROM. I'm only able to use the AOSP lock screen.

OOOOh, I feel like a dumbass. I just realized that as well. Oops! Thanks BTW. Oh and I just realized we are now able to use the Gingerbread Keyboard!

They did put out an apk for 2.1 users for the GB keyboard, but it was really buggy. Thankfully now that's not the case, which is great because it's my favorite

I just d/l'ed Froyo. I'll flash it later.

Geesh...I've had to backup my system 8 times this week already just to try new stuff, and now Froyo comes out :/

Anyway, looking forward to universal cut n paste! Missed this coming from my 3G (ironic, eh?)

Yep, that's definitely not a stock Android thing.

so I jumped the gun and flashed it anyway without wiping, getting a ton of problems. Too many to list. Going back to DJ05 until I'm ready to do a full wipe/restore

You should be able to get to it by tapping on any text field twice. First to focus on it, then tap on a particular part of the text. For example, when typing out a text message, tap on something you already have typed out and a little blue arrow should appear. You can drag it around, or tap on it to bring up the text selector.
