I performed a factory reset/data wipe on my phone to clean it up and reinstall 2.9sc. I backed up using Ti Backup and also did a nandriod back-up as well.

Well, when I rebooted my phone, set it up and then went into the Market to get Ti again, all of a sudden, I realized the market was already downloading and installing apps onto my phone. Some of them were even apps that I had uninstalled and did not want them any more...

is there a reason for this? I would perfer to use Ti to reinstall my data and apps.

Did I miss a step?

Any help would be great, thanks!

It's a Froyo "feature" that I also hate.

It's an option under settings/privacy

Skip setup (don't sign into your gmail) and go uncheck the data restore

yeah you can not do a factory restore from within a custom rom

so I would need to flash back to stock first?

I've noticed that a factory restore within a custom rom, I would still have the same wallpaper up, widgets... things like that. I am guessing that is why?
