Sound recording problems

Ok I had this in another post, and I know that at least one other is having the same problems. I figured I would move it to a new post in case someone has the issue.

Since the new kernels came out yesterday, the voice recorder and sound recording on the video recorder do not work for me.

Here is what I have done:

full wipe, installed "stock" froyo, then installed sc 2.9.2 (up until this point sound recording works), then applied any one of the updated kernels. Once they are applied, the recording goes out.

I have done this about 4-5 times so far today. Each time i cleared all the caches and did a data wipe.

No sure where to go from there...

Go into Voodoo Sound Control and check the box marked Original Source for audio input

Just tested and Im having the same issue,flashed the new voodoo kernal plus the update and have no sound with the video ,not sure if the kernal did that thou because I dont use the camera all that often for videos. *shrugs

Page 30, they get into a discussion about this issue. The fix I posted turns off voodoo sound enhancement for recording which isn't ideal, but it's a temporary fix until this issue is resolved.

You have to download the voodoo control app by supercurio from the market. It's in there.

In voodoo sound control go to "microphone recording presets" and set it to"original"
