I flashed it for about 5 mins but went back to my SC 2.9.2 nandroid for lack of time to set things up on EC01. I'll be switching back again soon.

i solved that problem. i got 4 batteries. now that we have kernels with 3 party battery support, its great. it was annoying when we didnt have source built kernels cause you could only chagre the new batteries in the 3rd party charger. not so any more. i got 2 batteries and a charger in ebay for 5 bucks w/ shipping. oh, and you can wash them. yup, if they ever dirty just forget to take them out of your pants pocket and throw them in the wash. let them dry and you have a nice clean battery.

Why is 18 to 20 hours of battery life a bad thing?

That's with virtually no use. Last I checked, it was dropping 5% per hour with the screen off, nonot being used at all. If I acutally want to use the phone throughout the day, I need to carry a charger with me wherever I go. I recently paired it to my car with bluetooth, and it chewed through most of a full charge in about three hours. That's nonsense.

On DL09, I was getting a solid three days on a charge - with use. I didn't have to worry about making sure I top it off every chance I get, or worry that I might not make it home before it dies.

So, I flashed back to DL09, green clockwork mod and all, and it's back to the way it was. For me, froyo just didn't offer enough to make up for the lousy battery life.

There are no "EC01" kernels yet. And yes, the EC01 radio will work with SC 2.9.2. My battery life seems to have suffered with the EC01 ROM because of all the bloat, so I've been considering going back to SC 2.9.2, but using the EC01 radio.

ived been using DL09 radio with 2.9.2 and imnuts -50NV and went from 8AM to 4PM (my work day) with moderate use texting,browsing internet and was only down 50% which is amazing for me! this is a new combo for me so hopefully it works till something better comes along, hopefully that new community Rom we keep hearing about.
