Having a similar problem but get error when trying to push rage.bin to phone.
cannot stat 'rage.bin' : no such file or directory
unable to chmod /data/local/temp/rage.bin: no such file or directory

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Thank you for posting with such detail. I am interesting in seeing what happens. I am fully rooted and loving every minute of it but my wife's fascinate is stock so I would like to bring into the Froyo fold verizon's way and then hopefully she will let me root it afterward.

Keep the details coming. They are all welcome.

This same issue was my antivirus. I disabled it unzipped root files. Reloaded Antivirus. My antivirus was locking the rage.bin file for some reason.

Whoops, I flashed back to DL09 and OTAed to EA28, but seems like it's fine because instantly when I rebooted the froyo update popped up to download.. Just want to ask tho, is that alright or should I of flashed to DI01 to be safe?

my volunteers left me hanging lol?

Ha, sorry bro! Girlfriend said she was going to bed but never stopped texting me, I can't leave her hanging! I promise I'll get to it asap lol!

Edit: Got stock froyo OTA'd on my phone it's running without any bugs thus far, so I'm ready just have to smooth talk her into going to bed already!
