backups not matching

My last few nanroid backups finish with the error message: "Error while generating md5 sum!"

Any ideas why this may have started to happen and what I can do to fix it? I was on SC 2.92, now on KangBang Community Rom.

I've run the adb/term em commands as posted and nothing changes as it does not see the nanroid.md5, even though it is there.

This is frustrating as backups had been going fine, now they are not, even though they look fine in the folder.

Okay, learned something that you may already know. Backup at less than 75% battery gives a md5 error. backup at 98% gives you a successful backup.
