Can't say I have heard of anything causing that outside of a malfunction in the phone. Sounds like something's wrong with the hardware of the phone, specifically the screen. Thinking that's something where you MIGHT end up needing a replacement device, but hopefully I'm wrong and it's something else and someone may be able to help on that matter!

If you can send it to Samsung, don't get a Verizon replacement. I have went through 7 and they have all had screen issues. I've had that issue you described the green screen, in one of my 7 replacements. Please send it to Samsung its the only way you won't get screwed.
