Flashing CM7

I'm currently running KangBang 1.2v and plan on eventually trying Kaoscinate after the data and camera issues are fixed. I'm wondering if there are any prerequisite or new steps I need to follow first.

1. Boot into CWM and make a nandroid backup
2. Clear cache/dalvik
3. Wipe data
4. Flash Kernel ([KERNEL][4.28.11][CM7] OTB-Reloaded Kernel - xda-developers)
5. Flash ROM (in CWM 3.x?)
6. Flash Gapps (Latest Version - CyanogenMod Wiki)

Do I need to upgrade to CWM 3.x? (I'm currently running CWM 2.5.x). If so, where in the process would I flash the file in Odin? Do I need to disable voodoo first before flashing the ROM or Kernel?

Am I missing anything else?

It looks like you have it down...i usually flash thee ruin before the kernel, but I don't know if it matters. I think yes on the new cwr. I know jt said all if his new releases are gonna be edify
