I just installed gee whiz mod which does not come with some apps that I like. Is there a way of ripping apps out of other mods. You know, from the md5 file or even from a back to factory install phone?

I thong you'd have to decompile other roms and go from there

How do you decompile a ROM?

If your looking for app files in a rom do this. Download the rom to your phone. Open with root explorer. Click on the rom and select the system folder. Then the app folder. There you will see all the apps. Copy them and install with something like astro.
