Hi,

I just finished rooting my Samsung Fascinate (Verizon). I downloaded Titanium Backup and Root Explorer. I followed the advice of several posts indicating which apps I could delete and how to do it (I add .old to the end of the apk filename). So, i removed all of the unecessary bloatware. I'm just running into one problem. a couple of the apps I "removed" (by adding the .old suffix) are still showing up on my screen. They are:

Bing
Media Hub
Books
V Cast tones

I found another post that said I need to go to /data/app and add the .old suffix to those apk, as well. I found and apk for Bing, Media Hub, V Cast tones and Books, so I added .old to the filename.

Once I did that, the four app icons are still visible, but darker, and they have a mini "SD" card icon on the lower right corner. So, what do I do next.....I want those app icons GONE!

Thanks! :)
