I tried several free clocks, because I'm cheap. But I ended up buying Beautiful Widgets. I also have Battstatt. Tho one in the notification bar is Gauge Battery Widget. I removed it in favor of the Battstatt. The dock icons are from Droidz.

There are similar apps/widgets on the market, but they put the percentage on the left side of the notification bar, and the normal battery is still on the right side - not as pretty. And of course there are fancy-looking widgets that just show percentage on one of your home screens, they're all over this thread.

Vlingo is awesome is what it is.

it's like the google voice recognition, but in some ways much better. i have a ripped apk of the sprint vlingo car app and it's amazing.

Are you creating new categories through the menu or long pressing existing, pre-made folders to change icon and/or rename? When you bring up the app, it shows "Applications" with a little green bar under the word. Tap the green bar and you'll bring up the "Categories" screen where you should be able to access the icons.

thanks, got it.. I was using the categories screen, but only for assignment.. didn't realize I was supposed to be setting icons inn that screen. .. I was trying to set them when creating the shortcut on the home screen.
