Verizon Navi.....does it work better then Google Maps?

I was curious, like many it takes a few minutes to lock in GPS on the Fascinate. Has anyone tried Verizon Navigation? Does it lock on immediately? Any issues with driving directions?

Same issues remain but at a cost of 10 bucks a month. It's a GPS thing, not a software thing. Why would anyone bother with VZ Navigator is beyond me.

The only reason I was thinking about it was hoping it would be a temporary fix until an update arrived.

Ok i have a evo gps works. Great sprint navigation works better then google navigation. More accurate. The Galaxy phones seem to have a gps issue the epic gps got fixed mostly at least.

Yes basically that's what it is. This time we can't blame verzion. I mean they are known for disabled gps only make it work with verizon navigation. But this time it's an galaxy bug. AND there are fixes out just have to see when verzion is pushing it out. Sprint did already just few days after release of the epic. So I hope it will be soon out for u. Good luck.
