Sd card

Has anyone had trouble using SD cards thad are not samsung? I have a 16 gig card that was in my env touch, when I put it in the samsung it reports no card installed. I put it in a usb adapter and the card works fine. It is a san disk card and works fine. Put it in the fascinate and no go "NO CARD INSTALED" any ideas.

Does it give you the option to format it? Some phones don't like sd cards that were formatted by another. I'd just copy everything over to the computer and use the pre-installed card instead of having to reformat the one from the enV touch.

No it is like it is not their... cant do anything with it.

So when you go to format it with your fascinate, it just doesn't show up for you to format?

Right... its like it's not their. I put back in the LG, or in a USB adapter and it works fine no problem.

I ordered a 32 gig card off E Bay. I hope it works.....

I put in a 2gig card that was in my Env2 and it worked fine.

I swapped my stock Samsung 16GB card for the card out of my original Droid because the write speed to the Samsung card was complete krap.

The Droid SD card (SanDisk) works great in the SF.

Just tried it again and it worked fine.... I don't know what was different but it works. Thanks everyone.
