Stop bing search

When I type something into the browser bar it searches with bing how do I make it search through google instead?

With the stock browser it is coded in, so you will always route through bing. The only way around this is to just use google.com or a third party browser

The workaround for this is pretty simple if you're willing to change your launcher. Download launcherpro, install. Then do a search for "enhanced google search." Download it, go into your file manager, install it. After that, searches through the search button should be google. You can also install the google search widget after that.

If you're not familiar with launcherpro, the only downside I can see (if you love touchwiz) is that you have to abandon some of the stock widgets when you change launchers. The abundance of competent/better widgets in the market (most of which are free) that you can replace the touchwiz jobs with makes it more than worth it.

**Also, if you're going to use LP, make sure to delete all widgets and unused screens from the stock interface. Widgets can be deleted by simply long pressing and dragging them off the screen. Screens can be deleted in touchwiz by hitting the little gear icon that appears at the top of the screen (when you're scrolling through screens). Hit the red minus next to the unused screens once you've cleared them of widgets and/or icons.
