Saving emails

Is there any way to save an email? There is absolutely no saved folder and there is no way to create a saved folder. Really? Am i missing something here???

I think you've missed the entire concept of Gmail. :D

You don't save anything, you just don't delete them. You don't put them in folders, you search for them. You can add tags/labels if you want, but this is core functionality of Gmail. I know it doesn't jive with the first 20 years of email that you may have gotten used to, but it really is more efficient.

So just leave them in my inbox? Can I not just have a separate folder for my saved emails so my in-box don't get cluttered? By the way I'm using my bellsouth.net account not gmail. I hate bringing up blackberry but when I got an important email I had an option to save in my saved messages.

I don't see why you can't use folders. Although tbh I've been using k9 mail since day 1 so I'm not entirely familiar with the default client.
