Buddies now and Facebook questions

Let me start by saying that I haven't done much of anything to the phone except personalize and get rid of a couple of the homescreens.

The Buddies Now feature is kind of getting on my nerves. I connected it to my Facebook, but it doesn't seem to be updating peoples statuses. it has done it for a few of them, but not for all of them and I know they've updated their status. How do I fix that?

Also, the Feeds and Updates homescreen doesn't allow me to "like" a person's post, or to click on pics or videos. Is this changeable and how would I do that?

I have been reading about the Launcher Pro Plus on the forums and was wondering if that would fix my issues?

I had the same beef with the News and Feeds widget. People would post pictures in their status' and I couldn't click on them. Extremely annoying.

Did you fix it or did you just download a special app?
