Is the Fascinate and other Galaxy S's gonna be 4G capable?
Just curious cause looking at this it makes me wonder.

I believe the vibrant has HSPA+, so if you believe Tmo's gimmick of HSPA+ being 4G, then yes...

The simple answer? No. The Fascinate does not have the proper radios on board to be compatible with Verizon 4G LTE once it is launched.

What I was told by my VZW rep is that the Fascinate is capable of accomplishing the task. There is one little chip, which he indicated can be seen when you pull the battery cover off, that needs to be replaced for it to function on LTE. I know they don't know everything but it was a good indicator to me.

I don't understand what part of this article makes you think that the fascinate will get LTE.

bakward compatible, yes... capable of 4g speeds, no
