New Samsung Fascinate User??

I just got the Fascinate and was wanting to know if the lights on the phone by the ear piece blink once you get a email or message, if so do i need to set that up or what. I had the driod and it blink once I had emails or missed calles or messages. Thanks

Hello there loyer, welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately the Fascinate does not have an LED notification light. However, you might want to check out NoLED. It is a free app in the Market that will display a little light on your screen when it's turned off to show you that you have a new notification, and it's very customizable!

The "lights" you are seeing are actually the proximity sensor and ambient light sensor, no LED notification light for the Fascinate

If you're up for it root your phone and find a Kernel with BLN (Back Light Notification). Once you flash this whenever you have a notification your buttons on the bottom will light up. Less battery drain than the noLED app in my opinion.
