Strange icons in status bar

Today I noticed that I have a second signal bar to the left of the 3G icon. This signal bar has a triangle over it. I though this might be roaming however under Settings > About > Status it does not say I am roaming. I have restarted my phone but it's not going away. Also, my 3G icon keeps changing into what looks like a message bubble with a tape inside of it... yet I have no voice mails. Anyone else seeing this?

Hmm...the Triangle is Roaming. Have you tried updating your roaming capabilities? *228, option 2.

Yes, that's one of the first things that I did. I have the latest version of the PRL. The one ending in 69. I figured that was roaming but I did not understand why my phone status does not state that it's roaming. I even disabled roaming and it's still there. Also the 3G icon changing is kind of weird. Also for some reason when I enable Airplane mode it changes into a signal bar with about 8 bars on it instead of an airplane... and the signal bars with the triangle stay on. So I end up having 3 sets of signal bars lol. I have even done a battery pull but that does not seem to change anything. Also, before someone ask I am using default theme so it's not custom icons.

Very strange...is there any way you could take a screenshot? If you're not rooted, supposedly ShootMe still works on most unrooted devices.

Okay, I attached a screenshot. Everything that was blue is orange in the picture for some reason.

Hmmm...that is definitely an indication of roaming, sorry if I sound like a broken record. You could TRY a Factory reset if it's bothering you that much as opposed to bringing it into a Verizon store and seeing if that makes it go away.

I haven't seen the roaming bar before but I did get the VM icon in place of my 3G one when I first got DJ05 Clean 0.7 and tried to run my modified DI01 framework on top of it. I'd take a stab at you're running a DJ05 ROM with a DI01 theme?
