Sync Fascinate with 07 Toyota Tundra

I have an 07 Toyota Tundra with the Nav/Bluetooth/ stereo system. The phone connects via bluetooth and works. Problem is that the Nav/Bluetooth system in truck is designed so that your phone contacts will be dumped into the system.

I can not figure this out, thinking maybe a communication hardware problem but not sure.

Any ideas ?? Anyone know if there is a security setting that is in place that restricts the phone from "uploading" my contacts to the cars system ??

Some of the car/tucks bluetooth systems do not have the current software to operate the newer phones. I found the samething in some of the earlier Ford sync systems. The 2010 and 2011 models work very well.
