this looks pretty cool. i have not messed around with the "cloud". could you explain a little more about that. deleting the sammy music will break the car dock for many so we will have to figure a way around that. very good job on the how to. i say stickie.

I had this working, then tried renaming music.apk to music.apk.old because I couldn't get the syncing to work. I didnt know about the sd/media/music thing, and now no matter what i do, I keep getting FC when running JumperTest!!!
btw running S.C. 2.8

Followed the 5 year old instruction manual, and have everything set up as shown.
Sync works fine in the accounts area, but when i go to fire up Jumptest, I get a continuous FC.

I did some reading at and found the following info. Posted on March 7, 2011 9:12 AM
"Google's servers), you can remove the music files from the device and still stream them anywhere you have an Internet connection. This is similar to how other popular streaming music applications like Rdio, MOG, Spotify, mSpot, Rhapsody, Audiogalaxy and others work, except that here, Google is storing the music, not another company. (Presumably, unless there's a unknown partnership in effect.)"
"This hack is by no means perfect - there are issues with the app force closing (erroring out), songs only showing up in landscape mode, long sync times, no progress bar, and a host of other issues. But it is unofficial, after all."
