OK I am in the same boat. Running SC 2.8 pretty much OOTB (only Root explorer, Launchpro and Handcent installed)
Followed the 5 year old instruction manual, and have everything set up as shown.
Sync works fine in the accounts area, but when i go to fire up Jumptest, I get a continuous FC. - 03-08-2011, 08:19 AM #11

I did some reading at and found the following info. Posted on March 7, 2011 9:12 AM
"Google's servers), you can remove the music files from the device and still stream them anywhere you have an Internet connection. This is similar to how other popular streaming music applications like Rdio, MOG, Spotify, mSpot, Rhapsody, Audiogalaxy and others work, except that here, Google is storing the music, not another company. (Presumably, unless there's a unknown partnership in effect.)"
"This hack is by no means perfect - there are issues with the app force closing (erroring out), songs only showing up in landscape mode, long sync times, no progress bar, and a host of other issues. But it is unofficial, after all." - 03-08-2011, 09:36 PM #13
same issue here with 2.8 superclean, when i hit startpeer get forceclose everytime tried uninstalling and rebooting still not working...any advice or should i just scrap it
Edit : figured it out made sure had the right account preferred in far right tab of jumpset, restarted appear and worked first try. Thanks for the help and info, trying not to be such a newb just not enough hours in the day to keep up - 04-09-2011, 09:03 PM #14
